How To Make Guga Rub
Step 1 – Measure Ingredients
Carefully measure out how much you need of each ingredient. Although these amounts can be roughly estimated, the rub tastes best when using the exact measurements.
Step 2 – Combine Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients together. If you’re using the rub immediately, use a ziplock bag instead of a mixing bowl to combine your ingredients so you can easily add your protein and mix right away.
Step 3 – Mix Ingredients
Using a mixing spoon, thoroughly combine all of the ingredients together to make one smooth mixture. There should be no clumps or groups of any one ingredient by the time you’re finished.
Step 4 – Serve or Store Rub
If you’re using your rub immediately, go ahead and apply it to your meat right away. Be generous with your rub coatings to ensure the meat can soak up every flavour.
If you’re making your rub to use at another time, pour it into a sealed container or bag and store it away in a cool, dry place for up to 3 weeks.
