Lamb Seasoning

Lamb is succulent meat that can be delicious when prepared with our herby seasoning and then smoked to perfection. Your meat will be melt-in-the-mouth incredible with a buttery and herby taste that pairs perfectly with a huge range of Sunday dinner sides.

We recommend preparing this recipe and storing it away so you can use it repeatedly. This recipe makes enough for around 2lb of meat, so scale up your measurements for bigger batches.

How To Make Lamb Seasoning

Step 1: Measure Ingredients

Using measuring spoons or weighing scales, measure out the correct amount of each ingredient. This batch provides the right amount for approximately 2lbs of meat. If you want to store your rub for later use, scale your measurement sizes appropriately.

Step 2: Combine and Mix

Combine all of your ingredients together in a mixing bowl; mix thoroughly until fully combined. During this process, you want to combine so thoroughly that you can’t tell which seasonings have been used (no groupings of any particular seasoning).

Step 3: Use Or Store

Use the lamb seasoning immediately by patting your meat carefully yet generously. Remember that this seasoning adds incredible herby flavour to your meat, so be as liberal as you like with the seasoning. We recommend using this seasoning on the best smoked Lamb Chops for incredible flavours. Alternatively, if you want to keep all or part of your rub for later use, use a funnel to pour your seasoning into an airtight container. If you have a silica anti-moisture pack, place this inside the container to keep the rub fresher for longer. Store your container in a cool, dry place, and your rub can last for months.
