Ingredients
  

  • 355 ml can Dr. Pepper
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp white vinegar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp corn starch
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Liquid Smoke optional
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes optional

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in a large pan with a whisk. 
  • Whisk frequently over medium-high heat and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat to a slow simmer for 10-15 minutes, until thickened.
  • Remove from heat and allow to cool.
