Ingredients
- 14 oz can crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup ketchup
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup apple cider vinegar
- ½ cup molasses
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp salt
- 2 tbsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes
- ½ tsp ground mustard
Instructions
- Combine all of the ingredients in a medium saucepan
- Whisk frequently over medium heat and bring to a boil
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and allow the sauce to cool completely before transferring to an air-tight container.
- You can use this sauce immediately, but refrigerating overnight will result in the best flavour. Refrigerated, this sauce will last for up to two weeks.
