Ingredients
  

  • 14 oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup  ketchup
  • ¾ cup  brown sugar
  • ½ cup  apple cider vinegar
  • ½ cup  molasses
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 2 tbsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • ½ tsp ground mustard

Instructions
 

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a medium saucepan
  • Whisk frequently over medium heat and bring to a boil
  • Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Remove from the heat and allow the sauce to cool completely before transferring to an air-tight container.
  • You can use this sauce immediately, but refrigerating overnight will result in the best flavour. Refrigerated, this sauce will last for up to two weeks.
