Try this recipe when you’re looking to elevate a humble cut of meat into something bold, buttery, and crave-worthy. Whether you’re grilling for a weeknight dinner or feeding a crowd, these smoky, saucy chicken legs will have everyone licking their fingers—and asking for seconds.

Ingredients
  

  • 16 each Chicken drumsticks skin on. Enough for 2-3 per person
  • ¼ cup Prairie Smoke and Spice Tumbleweed Rub
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • ¾ lbs Salted Butter
  • 1 bottle Prairie Smoke and Spice Blue Ribbin sauce
  • ¼ cup Big Poppa Smokers Happy Endings Finishing Rub

Instructions
 

  • Preheat smoker to 300°F
  • Pull back skin on drumsticks and season inside and out
  • Add butter to tray and smoke for 30 minutes
  • Baste and continue cooking 15 more minutes
  • Add Blue Ribbin BBQ Sauce to tray
  • Increase heat to 400°F and grill drumsticks directly until sauce is set
  • Rest 5 minutes and finish with Happy Endings Finishing Rub
  • Serve and enjoy!
