Smoked Buffalo Chicken Dip with Yonedas Butter Seasoning

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 tbsp Yonedas Butter Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Yonedas Gold Seasoning
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup buffalo hot sauce (Frank’s RedHot recommended)
  • ¾ cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions or parsley

Instructions

1. Smoke the Chicken

  • Preheat your smoker to 270°F using mild wood (apple, cherry, or hickory).
  • Season the chicken thighs with Yonedas Butter Seasoning.
  • Place directly on smoker grates and smoke for 90 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Remove from smoker, rest 5 minutes, then finely shred or chop the chicken.

2. Prepare the Dip

  • In a large bowl, mix together:
    • Cream cheese
    • Greek yogurt
    • Buffalo sauce
    • Yonedas Gold Seasoning
  • Stir until smooth and creamy.
  • Fold in the shredded smoked chicken and ½ cup of shredded cheese.

3. Smoke the Dip

  • Transfer the mixture to a cast iron skillet or foil pan.
  • Sprinkle remaining ¼ cup cheese over the top.
  • Smoke at 275°F for 30–40 minutes, until bubbly and golden.

4. Serve & Enjoy

  • Remove from smoker and garnish with green onions or parsley.
  • Serve hot with:
    • Tortilla chips
    • Celery sticks
    • Crackers
    • Carrot sticks or pita chips
