Maui Short Ribs Recipe

Ingredients

Instructions

1. Preparation

  1. Preheat your grill to high heat (around 400°F or as hot as it will get).
  2. Rub the ribs with a light coat of vegetable oil.
  3. Season the ribs generously with Yonedas Gold Seasoning (use more than you think — some will fall off while grilling).
  4. Let the ribs sit at room temperature for a few minutes until the rub starts to melt into the meat.

2. Cooking

  1. Place the ribs directly on the hot grill.
  2. Flip the ribs every 2.5 minutes — you’ll flip a total of 3 times so that each side cooks twice.
  3. Grill until each side has cooked for about 10 minutes total.
  4. Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

3. Serving

  • Serve with Prairie Smoke and Spice Blue Ribbin Sauce on the side, or brush the ribs with sauce right before serving.
  • The bones are easy to remove while eating. For kids, you can cut the meat off the bones before plating.
