Bacon Wrapped Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 slices of bacon (not thick cut bacon)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F
  • In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Rub half the spice mix on the chicken breasts.
  • Wrap each breast with 2 bacon slices and put them seam-side down in a baking pan or skillet.
  • Sprinkle remaining spice mix on top of chicken.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, basting occasionally with pan drippings until bacon is crispy and chicken is cooked through.
  • Optional: Broil for 1-2 extra minutes for extra crispy bacon. Watch closely to avoid burning.
  • Sprinkle fresh parsley over the chicken before serving.
