  • Anti-Moisture Silica Packet (optional – if storing)

Ingredients
  

  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp coarse salt (or kosher salt)
  • 2 tbsp granulated garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp cumin

Instructions
 

  • In a small mixing bowl, combine 3 tbsp of brown sugar, 2 tbsp of sea salt, 2 tbsp of garlic powder, 2 tbsp of smoked paprika, 1 tbsp of onion powder, 1 tbsp of black pepper, 1 tsp of cayenne pepper, and 1 tsp of cumin.
  • Mix the ingredients well to create your brisket rub.
  • Apply the brisket rub generously to the surface of your brisket, making sure to massage it into all the nooks and crannies of the meat.
  • Store any unused smoked brisket rub in an airtight container.
