Preheat your gas grill to 400°F using two-zone heat. You can use a charcoal grill for this recipe as well, or any grill that can accommodate 2-zone grilling (one half using direct heat, the other using indirect heat)
Clean the salmon and pat it dry, leaving the skin on
Combine olive oil, dill, garlic powder, lemon zest, salt, and pepper and brush it all over the salmon, everywhere except the skin.
Place the salmon skin side down on the indirect heat side of the grill and cook for 8 minutes.
After 8 minutes, squeeze a lemon over the salmon, flip the fillets, and place on the direct heat side of the grill.
Sear the salmon for 2 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
Serve the grilled salmon hot with lemon wedges and a sprinkle of salt
